Hello,

You have to score the minimum qualifying cut off percentile in JEE Main in order to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. Each year the cut off percentile changes depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. Last year the cut off percentile for SC category was 50.1760245. This year it is expected to be in between 50-55 percentile. Considering this you have decent chances to qualify in JEE Main and appear for JEE Advanced. So you can prepare for JEE Advanced if you are interested to get seat in IIT.
