According to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare - “The candidates of EWS category may indicate their category at the time of registration for counseling.”

Meanwhile, the facility for correction in the particulars in the NEET-UG 2019 Online Application Form is once again operational on the website (till 31/05/2019). It’s sensible to change the category there.
