I am applying for M.Tech at KIIT through Kiitee 2019. What is the probable cut off mark? And what arr the possibilities of getting selected?
Dear Rashmi,
As per the cut off of 2018, the closing rank of the KIITEE for round 1 is who have score 400 and above. As the result depends upon the difficulty level of the exam, seat, and also how many students are appearing. As the closing rank with these marks was different for different branches.
Such as:
Branch and Rank:
CSE/CS & IS-1-91
Electronics & Tele Communication-1-79
Electrical Engineering-1-92
Mechanical Engineering-1-114
Civil Engineering-1-115
I hope this will give you an insight into whether you will be selected or not.
Good luck
Hello Rashmi
KIIT University is mainly one of the premier institutes for its Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, and recently the MBA course is getting better too. For MTech, though it has a lot of infrastructure, lab facilities, and professors (atleast in the core branch. ie. civil, mechanical), it still lacks a lot as far as Masters in Technology is concerned. Right now it isnt something very attractive, or fruitful, but might become one in near future. I would suggest VIT, or maybe SRM for masters.
