Yes, you can appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) this year in the month of November. According to the official website of the CAT, candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification examination, and those who have completed degree requirements, and are waiting for the result can apply and appear for the CAT .
However, if selected, then you will be allowed to join the MBA programme provisionally, only if you submit a certificate latest by the stipulated time from the Principal/ Registrar of your College/ Institute stating that you have completed all the requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree on the date of the issue of the certificate. Almost every business school also permit the final year students to apply for the MBA programme, and appear for the selection process subject to the condition that admission will be provisional, and they must present the final semester marksheet by the end of the stipulated period.
