As you know NIMCET Entrance Exam opens up a new Gateway to do MCA course from few of the best colleges of India. The General Eligibility criteria of the college is that B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects (candidates from open universities are also eligible). B.E/ B.Tech from recognised institutions will also be granted. However for B.Com courses, it is not yet mentioned in their eligibility criteria brochure.

MCA is a two year full time programme offered by many private and public institutes.it generally deals with programming and information technology which is growing rapidly. Increasing applications of computers in almost all areas of human endeavour has led to a vibrant industry with concurrent rapid change in technologies.

Eligibility criteria of MCA program

• Candidate Should have passed any recognized bachelors degree of minimum 3 years durations
• Candidates who will be completing their U.G. degree programme during academic examinations are also eligible for the course.
• The candidates should have completed 10+2+3 years of study before being admitted to the M. C. A. course.

M. C. A. COURSE (Lateral Entry – 2 Years)

BCA / B.Sc (Computer Science and IT ) graduates can pursue MCA Course in 2 years through Lateral Entry

NIMCET is a common entrance test conducted for admission in MCA course in following NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal. admission eligibility criteria is same as in any MCA program as provided above.

You can apply for the course as it invites application to all graduaate candidates.
