I AM BCS 2 YEAR STUDENT BUT WANT TO PURSUE CAREER AS A CA SO HOW COULD I TAKE ADMISSION IN COLLEGES OF BECOMING CA
Yes you can pursue your career of becoming a CA even after your B.Sc. But you need to score minimum of 60% in your final year of your under graduate course.
Because that will be the first step towards becoming a CA.
The basic guidelines state that: After graduation/ post-graduation, candidates do not have to sit for CPT. They have to complete ITT , orientation program, and 9 months of Articleship and then sit for IPCC Group 1 as well as group 2. After clearing and completing at least 2.5 years of Articleship, CA finals can be attempted.
This is called direct entry scheme . Its steps are:
- Enrol for IPCC both groups
- 100 hours of Information Technology Training
- Orientation Course
- Complete 9 months of mandatory Practical Training (Articleship)
- Appearing for both groups of the IPCC exam
- CA Final exam
- Awarding of the CA designation
Thank you & All the Best
First of all, there's no any particular college or university to become a CA.
ICAI is an independent institution through which you can appear for CA exams by registering yourself. After clearing all the exams and completing Articleship of 3 years you'll become a CA.
Students after class 12th can apply For CA foundation(first level of CA), after passing foundation they need to appear for intermediate exams, then 3 years of articalship, and then final exams.
If you want to pursue after graduation, then you can directly appear for intermediate exams.
Thank you
