The cutoff each year varies as it depends on various dynamic factors that changes every year. It is bit difficult to tell the exact marks but the previous years' closing rank will help you to get some idea. For that you can refer the data given below :

Hi,

It is very Difficult to predict how much marks would be needed to get into Top NITs. JEE mains rank is based on percentile. Percentile depends on various factors like Paper difficulty, other students performance etc. However to be in safer side , you should aim for atleast 200+ in JEE Mains to get CSE in too NITs. I think 200+ would be good score to get into Top NIT for an ST Category student.
