I am biomedical engineer. I want to do MHA Course from KUHS,Thrissur. Am i eligible for it? Is there any qualifying exam,i have to give?
Hello,
The eligibility criteria for MHA course is:
1. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline which includes Science, Commerce, Arts, Law, Agriculture, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, B.Sc. Nursing, BPT, BAMS, B.Sc. Allied Health Science, Veterinary Sciences, and B.Sc. Pharm from any recognized Indian university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
2. Candidates with Indian citizenship can apply under the general category, whereas NRI/Foreign students can apply under the Foreign or NRI category.
3. Candidates have completed 3 years of Graduate Degree in any discipline successfully or candidates should possess four years Graduate Degree in Paramedical Sciences, medicine, and other four years’ program, such as Veterinary Sciences, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Law, and Engineering.
So, if you have these qualifications then you can surely do MHA course.
There are some entrance exams for the same:
1. CAT:
Common Admission Test Score is accepted by some of the colleges offering MHA courses. Candidates must score 50% to be eligible to sit for the CAT exam. A 5% relaxation is provided to the candidates from reserved categories.
2. MAT:
The AIMA conducts the MAT exam four times a year.
I hope this helps.
Thank You!
