Hey GB,

See after reading your question throughly and seeing the fact that you are in 11th standard.I would like to tell you all the aspects related with your question and would like to tell you the deed which i feel would be the best for you.

First point we would focus on you being interested in magic tricks -

I'llbe compleely frank with you, magic industry is a great industry in india but it has a lot of sturggle and one should have a backup or a plan B before enterring in a field which dosent have a quite promissing result.

  • Now lets come to the tech part-

See you state that you are into technology and new gadgets and all and you feel you should go with software engineering . Now a job of a software engineer is not as how other people percieve it.

The final app or the gadget or the page which one sees comes to that level with the help of coding but when you are in the coding phase you see nothing but your notepad or the other text pad of someother software.

If you feel that this is right for you and would like to do that then i would reccomend you going for the computer engineering.

Now if you feel that you want to do something where you get a more handy experience of stuff then you should go for other Engineering branches like mechanical if you want to work with machines or make the machines and you can also go with electical if you want to work with the electrical devices.

In India there is also a budding field with the robotics where you would get to work with the latest tech and you will get a bit of coding and a hardcore handson experience too.

These are the few options I would have chosen if I wanted a more practical work experience and all.

I would highly suggest you to try and see if you fit inthe Robotics engineering or mechatronics because these two fields have both a hint of coding nad mechanical jobs too so you would be able to get your hands on both the sides and wont have to compromise on any.

If you feel that you dont fit any of these fields too then i would suggest you give a try to product designing after some engineering as it is prefered that a product designer is a PG degree holder which best pairs up with a technical degree as they then know the complete working of any part and the importance of the parts or safety too.

  • Now let's come on the construction part-

See here you have two options

  • Civil engineer
  • Material engineer

If you choose the civil enginner part, you would have to work onsite and would have to supervise and decide and design the plans of how one building or how the project on which you would be working needs to take a shape and what difficulties one faces or what issues and aspects one needs to keep in mind while working.

So civil enginners have jobs like making and planning buildings and bridges, roadsand the other structures or super structures.

If you choose to be a material engineer, you would have more of a lab based work as compared to the onsite work but there you would be able to see and deal with the very basics of weight distribution and the different kinds of stresses a material or a thing goes through. These guys work in nearly all the mechanical designing fields as every shaft or every place where stresses come into picture, there is a requirement of a material expert.

Now lets revert back to your passion of magic-

Here now after being done any of the above courses, then once you have a backup in hand then I would suggest you to follow your passion and would suggest you to Learn illussion or the "magic tricks" under a big famous illussionist as a prodigee as you would be able to learn all the deeds well and would beable to see the hardships and the other requirements.

I suggested you to follow your passion once you have a safe future because you should always have a plan B and once you know that you have a safe and secure path then you would be able to focus on magic even better.

Hope I cleared your doubt, if there is anything else then please comment down below

Cheers and all the best mate!!
