Hello there,
Everyone would have different opinion on the matter, so I'll present mine here. If you have a had a great experience in your graduation and you are further interested in taking it to next level then go for it. but as you said that the course is software oriented. then there is no point dong the course that diverts you from your field of interest. moreover you'll be losing money as well and your precious time. As far as the recognized degree issue that can also be problem with some firms. try finding a job with your graduate degree and make sure you notify them well in advance about this. If this creates a hindrance frequently then better find a post graduation degree that aligns with your interests. Then money should not be a problem. Also if you get a job then the experience is much better than a post graduate degree. This experience will take you places better than post graduate degree.
Hope this might helpful to you.

See it all depends on your choice. If you are willing to go for higher studies, you can definitely do your PG. However, if you think that you don't want to study anymore then obviously you should apply for the jobs. It's all upto you that what's your decision, whether you want a job or you want to learn more.
