In order to be eligible for UPSC exam in 2023, you need to be at least 21 years of age as of August 2023. The upper age limit varies according to different categories as shown:
- General- 32 Years
- OBC- 35 Years
- SC/ST- 37 Years
- PH (Blind, Deaf, Orthopedic)- 42 Year
- J & K Domicile- GEN=37 Yrs, OBC= 40 Yrs,
- SC/ST=40 Yrs, PH=50 Yrs
- Disabled servicemen, disabled from duty- GEN=37 Yrs, OBC=40 Yrs, SC/ST=40 Yrs.

Yes, since you will turn 21 in 2023 you are eligible to write the upsc exam.
UPSC Civil Services Exam Age Limit ,Candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age and must not be more than 32 years of age. General Category & EWS: 32 years; 6 attempts. OBC (with certificate): 32 years + 3 years; 9 attempts. SC/ST: 32 years + 5 years; unlimited attempts.
