Hello,
Each college has different eligibility criteria so you have to fulfill the eligibility required that is specified by the institute in which you are seeking admission. A candidate must have studied Mathematics subject in Bachelor's Degree from a recognized board or must have studied B.Sc or its equivalent in Mathematics from a recognized board. We would recommend you to check the eligibility criteria once before seeking admission in an institute.
In order to be eligible for M.Sc (Master's of Science) Mathematics, one has to complete his/her graduation from B.Sc Mathematics or Other degree in relevant field. But remember, to pursue this course, one must have studied Mathematics as one of their main Subjects in Graduation.
There are many B.E (Bachelor's of Engineering) or B.Tech (Bachelor's of Technology) degree holders who are interested in M.Sc Mathematics, hence Mathematics is mandatory to be eligible to pursue this course. A Candidate has to score minimum 50 percent in graduation (depends on the Institution or University you're willing to take admission into) to pursue this course. The admission would be based on both merit and entrance exam (depends on the University). But in most of the Universities an entrance exam will be conducted to offer Admission into this programme.
Good Luck.
