Hey!

Mahatma Gandhi University has a rule which states that minimum 75 percent attendance is required to become eligible for examination.

Few years ago, the ministry of human resources allowed a 240-day maternity leave for female research students in their MPhil/PhD programmes. M.Sc. courses were not mentioned as such. And M.G. University allows you to sit in examination only if your attendance does not go below 75%, irrespective of pregnancy.

So, you will not be able to get maternity leave as such. For clarifications, please mail the concerned college authorities.
