You should be very clear on your basics such as Accountancy, financial Accounting, Economics, business management etc and Be updated with the current business scenario.

If you are planning for MBA in finance then I would suggest you to clear your basic concepts of accountancy, micro and macro economic. As these are some mandatory subjects that will be common for all the students in 1st year. Later on in your second year you can choose your specialisation in finance. There you will be emphasizing more on capital markets, portfolios, financial analysis, financial risk management and many other subjects as per your interest and area for job profile.
