I am class 12th student and i want to become a software engineer. What i can do for it after 12th?

Software engineering is one of the most popular branches of computer science and has taken over the world in the digitization era. Software engineers are required in almost every field these days. With the easy accessibility of computers and smartphones, the importance of software engineering has become more pronounced.

Most of the institutes in India provide software engineering specialization at the masters level.

For B-Tech in Software Engineering :-

1)You can apply for these courses after passing class 12 with physics, mathematics and chemistry.



2)Some institutes also require you to score at least 60% in class 12 in order to take admission in these programmes.



3)JEE , MHT CET score or other state level exams score are considered for admission.

For M-Tech in Software Engineering :-

1)To apply for this course, you will have to secure at least 60% marks in B.Tech courses.



2)Admission is done on the basis of GATE scores and Personal Interviews conducted by the institutions.
