Dear Aspirant,

NDA/NA Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice a year in the month of april and december to select young boys and girls in indian armed forces as officers.

Of Course you can give UPSC NDA/NA examination being a commerce student

But you are not eligible for Air Force.

Educational Qualifications:

(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy :—12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :—12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Dear Aspirant

For the Air Force and Naval wings of NDA candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics.

Candidates who are appearing in class 12 or equivalent examination can also apply.

The Army wing of NDA demands passing of class 12 board examinations from recognized board and air force demands passing of class 12 with physics and maths.If you are from commerce stream then it is not possible to join the air force even if you are having maths since physics is necessary.However you can go for the army wing.

Sorry but you are not eligible to appear in NDA Airforce exam as the basic Educational eligibility criteria to appear In the exam is that the candidate must have passed class 12th with Physics and Mathematics as Mandatory subjects, so if you're a Commerce student then you're not eligible to appear in NDA Airforce exam.
