Choose the branch in which you have more interest. If you like both then you must consider some key points. You may think for yourself how many mines are there and how many buildings, malls, bridges, etc. are there? So what I want to say is that Civil Engineering has a broad area of application but mining engineering has less area of application. But if you do any course of interest from a good college with good inputs, then definitely you will get good outputs. Scope is good in both the branches.

Hope my answer helps!

Go for civil engineering as it is a core branch of engineering and better scope

You should choose the branches according to your interest and passion. If we compare both the branches than civil has good scope in the future in terms of job opportunities.

Good Luck!!
