Actually the mba programmes are offered by state university so on degree your college name won't came but particular university name will be embossed...
And mba is equivalent to pgdm as placements package both are same
But if u think logically the fees are less of mba and placements are equal (student A pursuing mba and student B pursuing pgdm will get equal package) so why would you spend extra money for pgdm
But the con is of mba that the colleges or institutes are less and competition is high for students taking mba so atlast one might have to pursue pgdm...

And ya main thing for pgdm only entrance score is not the criteria the institute undertake gd/pi process whereas sme colleges of mba give direct admission to students(colleges of Pune,Mumbai,Nagpur)

And both are beneficial just the institute should be aicte approved nd should come under ugc if possible bt main thing it should be aicte approved then only mba or pgdm is worth
