I am confused between Bsc IT & BCA? Which is better?
Both degree courses are good ..but it depends on your choice If your 12th standard belongs from science so you should join BSC otherwise BCA
Reason is that bca and bsc almost IT syllabus is same, only difference is that streams and subjects.
Career prospects of BCA are that you can work as : Programmer, Database Administrator, Application Developer, Systems Analyst, Work as an entrepreneur, Web Designer, Career in Multimedia Applications, Graphic Designer, Content Manager, Network Administrator, Business Analyst, DTP (Desktop Publishers)
B. Sc IT: B. Sc IT is primarily focused on subjects such as software, databases, and networking. In general, computer science degrees tend to focus on the mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing rather than emphasizing specific technologies.
Career prospects of B. Sc IT are that you can work as: Programmer, Database Administrator or Application Developer, Systems Analyst, Work as an entrepreneur, Web Designer, Career in Multimedia Applications, Graphic Designer, Content Manager, Network Administrator, Business Analyst, DTP(Desktop Publishers), Team Leader, Managers Project Leader, Mobile application Developer.
So you can choose any of the above depending upon your interest.

That totally depends on what you wanna do after graduation. I mean if you want to work for a company as a developer then you should opt for BCA but if you want to be a professor then Bsc is a good option for you. It doesn't mean that you cannot work for any company after Bsc but you have to work harder than others. The reason why I am telling you is that in Bsc the focus is on theoritical knowledge rather than BCA where you will learn about applications.
With the rise in demand to build more IT sectors in India, job opportunities in IT sectors are increasing day by day. In India, the BCA course is an affordable and cost-effective education that polishes the existing qualities and builds quality experts in the IT industry.
Students opting for this subject/course have to deal with several computer languages. Hence, finding the best college with the best faculty becomes necessary to mold your skills and knowledge better and to complete your education thereby stepping into the world of job.

Hello,
Mostly Same. There might be bit change in syllabus pattern and lab manual but concept is same. BCA is good than BSc as salary and job offer is bit high. It is hard to get job with BSc. you atleast have to do MSc to do a job with a good salary structure.
if you have good skill set then there is more chance to get a job with BCA degree. companies also prefer MCA but there are opportunities for BCA also. Average salary for BCA is 3.2 for a skilled person which is good enough for a fresher.
Hope it helps!
