Dear Aspirant,
The change of branch is not available in a manner you want it to be. Most of the government colleges give admissions into various branches depending upon your rank and performance in the competition exam.
However, if you are in a private college you can tak admission in the next academic year with the change branch of your interest. The fact that you leave the examination, in most of the cases, will lead to the cancellation of your admission or the year back(repeating the same year).
If you are interested in some other branches then I suggest you should take a fresh admission in the branch of your interest.

There is a concept of changing branch in government colleges but that is based on your marks and availability of the seats k. your desired branch. If you fulfill both these criteria then you might get to change your branch.
