Hello,

If you are doing B.tech in Biotechnology then its better to for M.tech because moving to MS will change the entire structure of what you have studied in past and what you will study in future because MS and M.tech are two different studies, MS is related to research and it can be if more than 2 years duration. On the other hand M.tech is defined 2 years course and more about technical study.Placement wise M.tech is better choice.

Good Luck
