i am currently having science stream in my class 12 but i want to do ba llb after my class 12th , i want to know that changing of the stream will create any problem for me or not
Hello,
Changing stream isn't anything new, many students opt for it, some at graduation level and other at post-graduation level, now the question whether it will create any problem or not depends on which context you're asking this question, for example many science students also have inclination towards humanities subjects, and BA-LLB is amalgamation of law with humanities subject, so in order to pursue this course you also need to possess the interest towards these subjects as you'll be studying these at ug level, other than this when it comes to work opportunities it depends in which field you want to work, law graduates can appear for various government exams apart from their domain oriented, they can find opportunities in banking exams also and I'm not talking about generalist roles which any graduate can apply, but specific designed ones pertaining to law department, other than this you'll be as eligible to apply for any government service exams as any other graduate, law as a career has got wider scope and opportunities, and you can explore it according to your preferences, integrated law courses come in many forms such as BA-LLB, BSc-LLB, BBA-LLB, BCA-LLB,BCom-LLB etc, some of the top entrance tests are CLAT, AILET, LSAT, BHU UET etc, eligibility is generally passed 10+2 from a recognized board with 45% aggregate, the subject combinations may differ in few cases such as usually science stream candidates are preferred for BSc-LLB/BCA-LLB, you can check out the eligibility criteria of the respective university for more details regarding this.
You can do BSC LLB. There are no such thing that you have to do BA LLB only. Now if you prefer BA then also there is no problem.
I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
Hello aspirant,
Not necessarily. Though you're studying in class 12th and you want to pursue BBA LLB after the completion of 12th, then it's really ok. It won't create any issues if the stream is changed. See, the basic requirement to pursue BBA LLB is that you need to have completed 12th class or intermediate from a valid, recognized board of education with the minimum aggregate percentage of 50%. There is no specific age limit criteria that candidates need to fulfil in order to apply for BBA LLB course admissions.
Hope, this information helps you.
