AI engineering is a booming field and a field capable of  replacing various jobs hence it is a fairly nice option to choose AI engineering looking at the trends .

as you are currently in 10th , in 11th you should go for science field and should choose PCM (physics , chemistry , maths) as your subjects which would continue in 12th too (also point to note is that :- maths is the backbone of AI and you need to choose maths and work on it if you are weak .)

after 12th there are 3 courses that provide AI related courses

1. B.Tech in AI and ML - course duration - 4 yrs , on an average salary - 3.5-24.0 LPA

2. BCA in AI - course duration - 3 yrs , entry level salary - 3-7 LPA , over the experience salary - 8-15 LPA

3 . BSc in AI and ML - course duration 3 yrs , expected salary - 3-7 LPA , after experience salary - 15LPA .

now if you have to choose the course B.TECH In AI  you need to Give the entrance examination that is JEE to get admission in the top colleges like IITs, NIT , GFTI.

is not necessary to give JEE exams for BCA course.but for some universities like GGSIPU you have to take CET(common entrance test).
