Hello ambuj ,
You should clear the concepts in given syllabus . Then attempt some good number of quality questions , remember quality of questions is important , not quantity of quesrions . for mastering concepts you should watch lectures on youtube . I will suggest you unacademy jee channel for preparation . Indians top faculties are teaching there .
Also good books is also important . so i will recommend you RD SHARMA objectives for maths ( it is best book for jee mains but not advanced ) . for physics HC VERMA  it is bible of physics then go for cengage jee mains book. for chemistry i didnt find good book yet . If you want to prepare for advanced simultaneously then use cengage series for all three subjects .
Try to give equal amount of time for all three subjects .
Most important believe on yourself . Best wishes .
Hope this will helps you.
Thank you.

To prepare for JEE Main at first you must cover the entire syllabus prescribed by CBSE for the examination. Once you are done with the syllabus practice sample papers and previous years question papers of JEE Main. It will give you an idea about the exam pattern and the type of questions you may expect in JEE Main. Regular practice will also help you revise the topics and you can also analyse your preparation level. Just keep in mind that after you have solved a particular set of question papers match your answers with the answer key work on the questions and topics you couldnt answer and only then go to the next set of sample papers. With hard work determination and regular study you can attain success.
If you are having a problem in understanding the topics you can also take coaching for JEE Main.

Many students from state Boards appear in JEE Main. So, you don't have to worry about you not being from CBSE Board. The syllabus for JEE Main is prescribed by CBSE. Cover all the topics from the prescribed syllabus, if needed take help from experts, friends, teachers.
