Hello Pratham,
There are 3 stages where you can apply for INA which are as follows -
1st Way -
After 10+2After 10+2 You can join INA through UPSC NDA examination or TES (10+2 Technical Entry Scheme), One should have PCM in 10+2 yo apply for this entry, there's no written examination, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of a Cut Off in percentage marks.
2nd Way -
After Graduation one can join INA. But having an Engineering Degree is a must. For some entries like “Logistics & Education” M.Sc and some other graduates can apply but for other branches, you need an Engineering Degree. After graduation, you can join INA through UPSC CDS examination or you can directly apply on their website I.e. Join Indian navy on the basis of the academic percentage up to 5th semester if you are clearing the cut-off and shortlisted you can go for the SSB.
3rd Way -
UES (University Entry Scheme) is the entry through which you can ensure your place in INA even before your graduation. Only engineering students can apply for this entry. In UES, NAVY notifies the college and sets up a Pool drive for all nearby campuses, eligible candidates are being interviewed (or screened) and shortlisted ones are called for the SSB.
Hope this helps.
