You need to emphasize on a number of subjects including General Knowledge, English, Logical Reasoning and Legal Aptitude.

1- Plan a strategy : You must schedule a study-plan. An intensive preparation strategy is needed which includes as many as 6 hours of regular studies to crack entrance exam. You must study at least two subjects every day and must practice at least one vocabulary / English and one reasoning exercise daily.

2- Cover all previous years’ papers: You are advised to obtain previous years’ papers of all law entrance exams including DU, CLAT, AILET and LSAT India which are readily available. Solving past years’ papers and careful analyzing preparation level may help a law aspirant in knowing the type of questions in each area and the sections where you are lacking. The best way for ensuring time-management in the exam and getting right amount of confidence to crack the exam is to solve as many past papers and full-length mock papers as possible under strict time-limit and exam conditions.

3- Mock Test - Mock Tests for preparation are very helpful in scoring good marks in the entrance exams. Solving mock test papers is important but you must also analyze their performance each time as they progress. It helps in improving the speed and efficiency as well as helps you to identify your strength and weakness.
