I am currently pursuing Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Bits Pilani Goa campus with 4+ years of job experience. My question is should I prepare for technical interview for the future or should I prepare for an MBA or data science field considering post Covid job market.

Hello,
As you are having a master's degree in mechanical engineering and also some experience, you can apply for some good position after your masters. You can also go for further studies and pursue a PhD to further increase your chances and also be able to go for research.
If you go for MBA, you can get to know about the marketing and business prospects of the industry. You can join some startup or hold job positions such as marketing manager, marketing executive, management consultant.
You can also pursue a career in Data Science. You can hold job positions as Data Scientists, Data Analyst, machine learning Engineer, etc. The one great benefit of data science is that you will never have lack of jobs.
Hope it helps
