You do not need an LOR to enter into an business school. You have to appear for CAT ,MAT and other entrance exams.
I think pursuing a B.Tech career and then going to an MBA life is an advantage for you..You will know this advantages once you step in the MBA life.

Dear Aspirant,
Your gateway to the top Business Schools is through the Common Admission Test (CAT) Examination. Only when applying abroad will you need such recommendation letters. When we say top B Schools it will start with the IIMs and to know the best management schools, please visit https://www.nirfindia.org/2020/ManagementRanking.html . This examination test your ability in
Verbal ability, reading & comprehension
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
Quantitative Aptitude

A point to note is that unless you work you may not really know which MBA program to really pursue – Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations etc. If you just want to understand what management is all about then it is fine but take note we live in a world of specialization and moving away from core engineering.
Good Luck
The minimum eligibility to apply for MBA admission is to have an undergraduate degree.
Final year students can also apply for admission.
You need to check the MBA admission 2020 eligibility criteria individually for your preferred college. If the college demands a letter of recommendation then you can get it from your undergraduate college, but most of the time it will not be necessary.
To take admission in top Bschools you don't need letter of recommendation from your college. As the selection criteria depends on your entrance score, academics, WAT, PI etc. So documents like your academic marksheets, caste certificate if you are in category, your identity proof documents are the important documents one needs to present.
Hope this helps
