I am currently studying in 10th class..What should I do after my 10th class to crack IAS exams..That's my childhood dream and I want to achieve it..🙏🏻
In order to appear for UPSC, you need to complete your graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, there is no specific aggregate required in this case, you need to attain 21 years and can apply even in the final year, if you're wholly and solely focused on cracking UPSC exam only, then having humanities stream at 10+2 and graduation level will help a lot, you can pursue graduation in any subject such as political science, public administration, geography, economics, history or even integrated law etc, as UPSC is more humanities oriented so having these subjects will help you in preparation process as you'll already be well acquainted with the subjects, now the thing is right now you're only in Xth Standard and you have a long way to go before appearing for UPSC exam, so if you have any other aspirations of pursuing courses such as engineering, medical, commerce etc, you can go ahead with these options only, it's good to have back up plans as well in case of UPSC, and let me tell know even if you pursue your higher studies in any field other than humanities, you still can appear and crack this exam, the reason I'm saying this to you because you're still young, and if you see toppers of this exam, they come from diverse backgrounds, more importantly the planning, preparation, dedication and single-minded focus remains the same for every aspirant.
