Hello Aspirant,
See if you appear for your class 12th boards in 2022 then you will only be eligible for JEE-Main 2022, 2023 and 2024 and for JEE-Advance it will be JEE-Advance 2022 and 2023. Now if you don't appear for JEE in your board year then your one attempt will be deducted from above attempts so then you can only appear for JEE-Main 2023 and 2024 and JEE-Advance 2023.
As per the number of attempts decided for JEE-Main and JEE-Advance any candidate is only eligible for JEE--main for maximum of three attempts in three consecutive years which includes the appearing year of class 12th and same with JEE-Advance but there are only two attempts allowed for it.
