I am Debdeep studying in 12th & my stream is Commerce. I want to pursue for Law after my Boards. I want to take admission in B.com LLB (5yr)
There are very few colleges that offer the course of BCOM LLB. Mostly all the top colleges offer the course of BA LLB and some offer BBA LLB. The scope of all these courses is essentially the same. There is not much difference in that. So even if you are from commerce background you can go for either of these courses, if you final goal is to pursue law, it wouldn't matter.
So as far as entrances are concerned, some colleges conduct their own separate entrances in some colleges conduct common entrances along with . Like CLAT is for National Law Universities which include top law colleges. Similarly colleges in Maharashtra like GLC Mumbai, ILS Pune etc offer admision based on common entrance test ie MHCET Law.
If you wish to pursue only BCOM LLB then you'll have lesser choices in colleges as compared to BA LLB. The colleges that offer BCOM LLB are-
