420 is not a bad score since you appeared for the first time. Now since you have taken the decision to take a drop start with a fresh note. It's whole of a year to prepare. Follow the points below for a great result -

* Concentrate on NCERT Read every chapter of Physics Chemistry and Biology thoroughly, this will help you to clear your basics.

* After this go through your notes you have made in your coaching. Next take a look at the solved examples. Finally start practising questions.

* Join a test series to analyse yourself. Figure out your weak points and work on them  harder.

* Some books that can help you-

GRB objective questions for physics

MTG series for biology and chemistry

If you seek for a higher level in physics try solving HCV.

* Lastly solve all the previous year questions and when you are left with just two months for NEET solve one paper covering the whole syllabus on a daily basis.

Hope that this will help. All the best for your preparations!

It doesnt matter how many hours you study. All that matters is how many hpurs you put your concentration and hard work into it.  Prepare a timetable now itself and start working on it. Complete within deadlines. Join very good institutions . Study previous years question papers . All the best !
