I think you should start your preparation from second year of your college onwards, in first year you must ensure that you are scoring well in your exam and should check that whether you are able to complete your college syllabus in time. I would like to suggest you that know about subjects, syllabus, trends of questions paper for Cat and choose a best and nearest college to you.
