I am doing Bca So I want to do MCA in abroad
Hello, MCA course will not be found anywhere else in the world but India. So you can do MS ( Master of Science) in computer science.
Computer science is a 2 year degree course in US and Europe. Computer application is broadly covered under computer science and it is studied for a career in IT, Robotics, software development etc. For studying abroad you must have a high graduate record examination(GRE) and must complete Language Proficiency tests like TOEFL and IELTS.
In the US, the the average tuition fees for computer science is 13500 USD to 141000 USD and in Europe it ranges from 288- 6660 Euros.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!!
Hello Hussain,
Yes, you can do Master in Computer Science(MS) not MCA.
I wish to clarify a few things first before I start answering your question.
- MCA is a very India specific thing. This course will not be found anywhere else in the world but India.
- MCA is a 3 year Master’s degree which was conceived in the early 80’s keeping in mind the growing demand for Computer Application Programmers. India had only a handful of engineering colleges which were producing only a handful of Computer Engineer. So the basic idea was to get all the non engineering graduates BSc/B Com who had studied Maths into a 3 year course to train them in Computers and make them IT industry ready.
- You can although do a MS (Master of Science) in Computer Sciences abroad. MS is usually a 2 year course .
Eligibility
- Also please note, that the eligibility requirement for the MS course will be 12+4 = 16 years of education. In your case, since you have done your BCA you have only 12+3 = 15 years of education. You will need to do 1 year of MCA or MSc to even be eligible for admission to MS courses abroad.
I hope you got it !!!!!
All the best !!!!!!
