Yes , you are eligible to appear for the NEET exam in 2025 if you are in the process of completing your 12th from UP Board through a private form. According to the eligibility criteria for NEET:
1. Qualification: You need to have passed or appeared for the 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Biotechnology) and English as subjects.
2. Minimum Marks: You should have obtained at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% for PwD candidates) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology in your 12th class.
3. Age Limit: You must be at least 17 years old on December 31 of the year of admission (2025).
Private candidates can apply for NEET as long as they meet these criteria . Ensure that the UP Board recognizes your private exam form as valid for the NEET eligibility .
