There are no lateral entry to IIT . However if seats go vacant in a year in NIT , then there would be a lateral entry through Mains only.
dear student
you are not eligible to appearr JEE exam.
The basic eligibility to appear for JEE exam is that you should have passed 12th exam with PCM subjects
You will be eligible under the lateral entry scheme.but however there is no lateral entry in IITs or NITs
you can try for other state level engineering colleges where you will get direct admisssion in second year
hope this helps
All the best!!!
hello md ashfaque ansari
if you have completed your diploma from a recognised domain from AICTE or state board then you are eligible given you fulfil other conditions and no you cannot get NIT or CFTs or IIIts
hop it helps
Hi. yes, you can appear for JEE if your course is equivalent to 12. Also, it depends on your rank which college you will get. We cannot predict beforehand. Prepare well, you will have a bright future.
Good Luck!
Thank You!
