I am doing Ma education and will do net in education... but i have not done b ed,. will i get a lecturer job in college?

In order to work as a lecturer or assistant professor you only need to completed Master's Degree in the relevant field with 55% in case you belong to reserved category there's relaxation of 5%, and qualify the NET exam.
BEd is required only in teaching at school level, not in University level. For instance, if you do BEd, you can qualify CTET or state level TETs for further recruitment of teachers,and as you will be completing Masters Degree, you can also teach higher classes.

Thanks..... Can you plz tell as a lecturer which subject will be given to teach after doing net in education? I am bit confused.
