Dear student

In my opinion , for GRE and TOEFL you should start your preparations from now and also shortlist colleges you want to study in. The ideal time for giving the test is during the month of January  after Christmas vacations . Also, in GRE if you are not satisfied  with your  results then you can appear the test once again within a month . And during  January  you will be getting a plenty of leisure time also there will be no study pressure from college. So, before your graduation , you will have a college in your hand. And generally they will ask you to join the college in the first week of September.

I believe since you are in 3rd year, you will probably be applying for the Universities next year in December. I believe the most appropriate time for GRE and TOEFL would be next year March or April, before your Summers. Even if you want to retake the exam, you can prepare yourself during Summers and schedule it anytime in July/August. However as far as TOEFL is concerned, give it in March/April exactly 2 weeks after GRE. For more information do follow the link below

Hello aspirant, hope you are doing good.

So, to answer your question, you can appear for both GRE and TOEFL examinations in any year, after passing your class 12 board examinations. You can appear for GRE 5times before applying for universities. So if you are prepared for it, you can appear for the examinations in any year of college as per your convenience.

Hello there,
You can sit for GRE and TOEFL in your 3rd year of B.Tech course if you feel that you are prepared. Your score is valid for 5 years. It is better if you sit for these exams in your 3rd year. Even if you score bad, you can atleast have an experience. You will know your preparation and can evaluate yourself. Hence you should sit for GRE and TOEFL this year itself.
Hope this information helps you.
Good luck!!

Hi Aspirant,

Yes you can take GRE and TOEFL Examination. You are in the 3rd year of engineering.

Generally, a person who has passed in 10+2 level of education from any recognised institution is an acceptable qualification for TOEFL.

Similarly, there is no defined eligibility and qualification for GRE Exam as well. The year you want to take admission, one year before that you should appear for both examinations.

Dear Aspirant,

The GRE entrance exam is one of the world's largest assessment programs for graduate admissions and the exam is conducted by Educational Testing Service.GRE exam is most popular to do MS course in the USA it is also acceptable to pursue MBA course outside India.

There is no age limit for candidates wanting to appear for GRE exam. So its best to write GRE and TOFL exam during your Final year. You can start preparing for GRE and TOFL from your third year itself.

Hope this information helps you.

Thank you
