CAT is a National level Common Entrance test to get admission in IIM's and B schools to pursue post graduation in Management i,e MBA. So it is necessary to give CAT exam if you want to do MBA in IIM's. In addition to that you must score a percentile more than 90 in CAT to get admission in top IIM's like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta and all. As you are in BBA 2nd year, start preparing for the CAT exam. So that you can write exam in the final year of your degree. Your graduation score also matters a lot in getting the admission. Minimum you should have 60 % in your graduation.
