I am doing my graduation now from Physics Honours and chemistry as generic is it compulsory to take any of these subjects in mains exam as main subjects or I can choose History geography or other subjects of mine choice as compulsory (main) subject

No, it is not compulsory to choose subjects of your graduation only. You can choose any subject of your choice in the Mains exam. There are 25 subjects available from which you can choose.
