You should produce the domicile certificate during the counselling and admission process. Also more preference is given to students from their respective domicile since there is a quota available for domicile students. You will get gmch in Chandigarh. You will also need the study vertical of your school and college and other valid documents for admission.

You have mentioned correct. The domiciled students do get preferences as there is 85% seats for the domiciled students and 15% for All India Quota. But your score is too low if you belong to general category. The cutoff remains around 550+. Even if you belong to any category like SC/ST then also you don't have much chance.
