The minimum and basic qualification for someone to get an Assistant Professor post anywhere in India are to have a Master's degree withThe nation at least 55% marks without rolling off.

You should have qualified the NET exam in the particular subject in which you have done your Master's degree.

Salary for an Assistant Professor is INR 6,09,270 in India.
