I am EEE background. But I wish to do ME in Mechatronics at Karpagam college. Can I write Mechanical subject paper in TANCET 2021?

Hello,
The eligibility criteria of TANCET are
- Candidates must have passed their B.Tech/B.E. from a recognized institute in the relevant field.
- Candidates must have secured a minimum 50% score in the qualifying exam and for the reserved category candidates minimum required marks is 45%.
Also, if you have qualified GATE examination then you don't have to appear for TANCET. GATE qualified candidates are directly eligible for the counselling procedure. So, yes you can appear for your desired paper but your admission possibilities depends upon the score obtained by you in the exam.
