I am eligible for Central EWS but not for Maharashtra State EWS. Can I get admission under EWS Category in State counselling using my Central EWS?

There are no specifications given regarding the EWS certificate in any of the cases that for state counselling you need it to be issued by the state government only. So if you have an EWS certificate then its applicable for all of the cases.
The eligibility for the EWS certificate are:
- The annual income of the family of candidate should not exceed 8lakh per annum.
- The family should not hold 5 or more than 5 acres of land.
- The family shouldn't have a residential area more than 1000 sq feet.
- The family shouldn't have a residential plot (in notified municipalities) of an area 100 square yards or more.
- The family shouldn't have residential plot (other than in notified municipalities) of area 200 square yards or more.
I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
But I have read in a lot of places about Central EWS and State EWS. And how bith of them have different eligibility criteria (except for the less than 8 lakh income).
Can you please look into it and help me here?
