LPU School of Agriculture is among Punjab and Indias Best Agriculture colleges. LPU Becomes the First Private University to be Granted ICAR Accreditation By the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. Students Innovate a drone which can be guided by remote control can be used on agriculture land to analyze the soil nutrient status and water stress is an innovation by LPU students to simplify the farming experience.

the qualifying marks criteria is general candidates need to secure 60% marks in graduation and reserve category candidates need to secure 50% marks in graduation. the qualifying course for msc in agriculture is you need to pass b.sc in agriculture from a recognized university with atleast 10+2+4 pattern. however in two icar affiliated institute IARI Pusa and NDRI Karnal  , bsc in agriculture in  10+2+3  pattern course holders are eligible to apply for some of the courses.
