With aiims 1171 rank you can get AIIMS Patna Rishikesh Raipur. SCB is one of the most oldest premier medical schools in our country and it is up to you to decide which one would you like to go for. If you join any AIIMS you do get the the brand name and new infrastructure and also only 5.5 years for your MBBS rather than 6 years in SCB. SCB has some of the best faculty we can find in the country. Riddles large number of patients coming in and over all the college has very good status. So it is you who has to decide which college you like to go for

Is there any loss in choosing AIIMS patna and leaving SCB.

If it was bhopal bhubaneshwar or jodhpur I would have said, go for AIIMs without any hestitation. Aiims patna is new. I had read once that there were not enough bodies in aiims. So being a new establishment it has its own, set of problems. Scb is well established and has no shortage of bodies to work on. Only drawback is the administration, the sessions are delayed at time and the aiims brand name. I would still suggest scb over aiims patna as in overall comparison it surpasses patna. Although patna will be a premiere Institute in the coming future, it's now up to you to decide
