If you are applying for government bank jobs like SBI, IBPS, RBI etc then there is no issue you just need to be graduated (RBI requires 60% in graduation).But if you are applying for private bank jobs then it depends because you will have to face interview and on the basis of that they will decide whether you are deserving candidate or not.

No aspirant , there will be no problem for bank exams even if you are are a dropout and you have gap years . You may face difficult questions during the interview process like what were you doing during the gap years or why did you quit engineering in the second year but you can easily tackle these questions by preparing for these kind of questions in advance before the interview round. But besides this there will be no problem.
