For OBC category, upto AIR 40000(GENERAL RANK) , people get in NITs. And for that rank marks of around 150 & CBSE BOARDS % around 91-92% is needed. As ur marks increase u require less borads % and vice versa.

Because the cutoff marks for jee changes every year and moreover it depends on various factors like the no. of students appeared for the exam, and the difficulty of the paper etc...
