Only if they or their parents have spent a fair share of 7 years in Karnataka for study or dwelling. So in a big picture, NO. Most of the students are not eligible for Kar.PGCET.

Candidates who are not the origin of Karnataka are eligible for admission to those MBA/MCA seats which are surrendered by the management.

Candidates who have valid GATE score card are not required to appear PGCET 2017 entrance examination but they have to apply online for application.

Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) to select candidates for MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, MArch as well as lateral entry MCA courses offered by various government/university/private aided and private un-aided institutions of Karnataka.

The online application form of Karnataka PGCET 2019 will be released in May. The entrance test will be held offline in July 2019.

Karnataka PGCET 2019 counselling is conducted online in August. Candidates will be called for counselling based on their ranks. \
