Yes there is a fee reimbursement scheme for degree students in Andhra Pradesh state under the Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme. While govt. pays full tuition fee under Vidya Deevena scheme, Rs 10,000 a year ITI students, Rs 15,000 to polytechnic students, Rs 20,000 for students who study degree and above courses will be provided for food and hostel expenses as part of Jagananna Vasati Deevena .As per the Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme the full amount will be directly paid to the colleges while the amount to be paid under the Jagananna Vasati Deevena will be credited to the accounts of the mother of the children under the Amma Vodi scheme. Initially the for B.Tech students the amount reimbursed was 35K but from 2019 the govenment announced full reimbursement to benefit students belonging to economically weaker section .Courses covered under the scheme by Andhra Pradesh Government for which reimbursement will be given are B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, ITI, Polytechnic, M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, MBA, MCA and B.Ed. Students belonging to EBC, BC, Kapu, Minority, and PH (Physically Handicapped) are eligible for the fee reimbursement in Andhra Pradesh.
